Christina Fok, MD, JD
Dr. Christina Fok is a General Pediatrician with UT Physicians and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School. Dr. Fok has expertise in Health Care Consumer Advocacy, helping patients navigate the medical system and working with underserved populations throughout her legal and medical training.

She completed her law degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2008 and received her medical degree from The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2016. She then completed her Pediatric Residency Training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Fok joined UT Physicians and McGovern Medical School in 2019 and has been involved with implementing and evaluating the UT Health Pediatric Medical-Legal Partnership.

She is currently the director of the UT Health Pediatric Medical-Legal Partnership. She also has been involved with the division of UT Pediatric Population Health Initiative, serving as the Co-Chair of the Social Determinants of Health Workgroup from 2021-2023 and assisted with the implementation of and evaluation of screening for non-medical drivers of health (NMDOH) in UT Health Pediatric clinics. She has presented her work on NMDOH and medical-legal partnerships at national and regional conferences. She is also involved in clinical education of medical students and pediatric residents and lectures on NMDOH, Medical-Legal Partnerships, and health-harming legal needs.
